About the Opportunity

This is a remote, project-based opportunity for 3D design professionals with 1–3 years of experience using Blender . You will contribute to projects involving 3D modeling, texturing, rendering, animation, and visualization.

Work is assigned on a project-by-project basis and conducted asynchronously over an expected 2–3 week engagement , with approximately 10–20 hours per week for projects you accept. This opportunity provides hands-on exposure to real-world 3D production challenges while allowing you to strengthen your portfolio and expand your Blender expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver high-quality 3D assets using Blender and industry-standard tools.
  • Work across 3D modeling, texturing, rendering, animation, and visualization tasks as required.
  • Document workflows, scene setups, asset creation processes, and production pipelines.
  • Collaborate asynchronously on 3D design and production projects.
  • Troubleshoot rendering issues, optimization challenges, and technical problems.
  • Apply creative and technical judgment to deliver project requirements independently.
  • Maintain organized, reproducible, and production-ready 3D workflows.
Required Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in 3D design, modeling, animation, visualization, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Blender .
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Hard-surface modeling
  • Organic modeling
  • Texturing and UV mapping
  • Lighting and rendering using Cycles or Eevee
  • Animation
  • Procedural workflows
  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Arts, Animation, Game Design , or a related field, or equivalent professional experience and portfolio.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to handle both creative and technical 3D production tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and visual quality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working across multiple stages of a 3D production pipeline.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating Blender-based modeling, rendering, animation, or visualization work.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex scenes, rendering issues, or optimization challenges.
  • Ability to document technical workflows clearly.
  • Experience working asynchronously with distributed or remote teams.
