Acquisitions Assistant

We are Content Rocket: An international film and TV distributor that publishes across a host of digital platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Amazon, Roku and Samsung. Our team is small, but our reach is mighty — and we are in need of an Acquisitions Assistant to help our team bring more and better content into the business.

This is a commercial role and will report to the Head of Partnerships. We are a fast growing company and team with a lot of opportunity to progress and put your stamp on what we do.

We are looking for candidates with both administration and client-facing sales or acquisition experience in the film and tv industry. Someone confident to hit the ground running who is self motivated, tech-savvy, wants to help us grow and is continually looking to improve the way things are done.

As you will often be required to make initial, fact-finding outreach to potential content partners, written and verbal communication competencies are essential. Fluency in English is crucial. Fluency in other languages is a bonus.

This position will be fully remote with flexible working — we are looking ideally to fill this position full time but would also consider condensed/flexible hours. You will also be eligible for a performance-based bonus as well as sick pay.

Duties:

  • Detailed desk research in order to support the acquisitions team
  • Initial fact-finding activities across multiple resources like IMDB Pro, Cinando, Rocket Reach etc.
  • Making initial contact with content partner prospects to confirm your information.
  • Diary and schedule management across the acquisitions team, especially around markets and conferences
