<p><strong>Role: Adobe Marketo Engage Engineer</strong></p><p><strong>Location: Remote</strong></p><p><strong>Job Type: Fulltime</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Troubleshooting advanced Marketo configuration or system behavior</li><li>Understanding and modifying backend Marketo settings</li><li>Lead scoring and scoring architecture</li><li>Marketo Sales Insight (MSI) configuration and behavior</li><li>Salesforce/Marketo integration questions</li><li>Diagnosing issues that aren't easily answered through standard Marketo documentation</li><li>Advising on best-practice configuration before we make system changes</li><li>Occasional technical implementation or configuration changes</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Manage user creation, access permissions, and role governance within Marketo to maintain secure and compliant platform operations.</li><li>Translate stakeholder requirements into technical Marketo configurations, reusable templates, and scalable operational solutions.</li><li>Contribute to maintaining Marketo architecture, including folder structure, naming conventions, tokens, and operational program frameworks.</li><li>Create and maintain fields, mappings, and synchronization logic between Marketo and CRM, ensuring schema alignment and high quality data flow.</li><li>Clone, configure, and validate forms, landing pages, and assets in Sandbox and Production environments to support development and testing cycles.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve Marketo–CRM sync issues, including field conflicts, validation errors, and API related failures.</li><li>Support and execute datatype changes, schema updates, and cross system compatibility checks to maintain integration stability.</li><li>Lead Sandbox refresh activities, including configuration audits, asset restoration, and sync re establishment.</li><li>Build, optimize, and maintain trigger based campaigns, smart campaigns, and automated nurture workflows, ensuring performance and scalability.</li><li>Assist with segmentation setup, audience management, and data governance, enabling accurate targeting and operational efficiency.</li><li>Monitor campaign performance, system health, and operational alerts, implementing improvements and escalating issues when needed.</li><li>Enforce data quality, compliance, and governance standards across Marketo and Salesforce to support accurate reporting and lead management.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>2–4+ years of hands on experience with Adobe Marketo Engage in a technical or admin capacity.</li><li>Strong understanding of Marketo architecture, smart campaigns, tokens, and operational programs.</li><li>Experience managing Marketo–CRM sync, including field mapping and troubleshooting.</li><li>Proficiency with APIs, webhooks, HTML/CSS, and basic JavaScript for technical configuration.</li><li>Familiarity with data governance, lead lifecycle management, and marketing operations workflows.</li><li>Ability to diagnose complex issues and communicate solutions clearly to both technical and non technical teams.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Additional Desired Preferences:</strong></p><p>Marketo Certified Expert (MCE).</p><p>Solid CRM proficiency (Leads/Contacts/Accounts/Opportunities, Campaigns, member statuses, routing).</p><p>Integrations with LinkedIn, Google and Meta Ads.</p><p><br></p>
