<strong>Foundation grant success</strong> as much about relationship building as it is about great writing. Yet an idea is powerless if it is not developed into a project.<br><br>What are we looking for?<br><br>Are you an enthusiastic and committed individual looking to join a small but ambitious team to help <strong>gain new funding opportunities for a community and living heritage-led collective</strong>?<br><br>Are you passionate about <strong>international human rights, justice and equality, in addition to Diversity and Inclusion for all, </strong>irrespective of age, disability, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexuality etc.?<br><br>We are looking for a dynamic individual with a good track record of applying for grants in the arts and cultural sector, particularly heritage.<br><br>Please see the specification below<br><br><strong>Essential<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience of liaising with grant making bodies and writing grant applications</li><li>Able to communicate effectively with collaborators from different contexts</li><li>Able to work to tight deadlines and shifting priorities</li><li>Able to work remotely and within a flat structure organisation</li><li>Able to commit 10 hours a week near funding deadlines (typical commitment minimum 4 hours per week) <br><br></li></ul><strong>Desired<br><br></strong><ul><li>Research background, preferably in Cultural Heritage sector</li><li>Experience of developing and managing a funding strategy in the third sector<br><br></li></ul>If you feel you meet the majority of the criteria above, <strong>please apply!<br><br></strong>Remote<br><br>What will you be doing?<br><br>We are interested in bringing on board an experienced in <strong>professional writing </strong>(research-led, grant writing, bid writing and / or supporting editorial text) <strong>in a cultural, education or heritage context</strong>.<br><br>What will you be doing?<br><br><ul><li>Researching, writing and collating grant applications within the fundraising team.</li><li>Liaising with grant-funding bodies across the arts, cultural and heritage sector.</li><li>Collaborating with existing (funding) partners and developing new relationships with potential partners, funders and donors.<br><br></li></ul>In essence, you will be a <strong>confident self-starter</strong> with the <strong>ability to research, apply for relevant funding streams and form strong relationships </strong>with beneficiaries, potential donors and volunteers.
