Communications Writer - Internal & Community Relations, Entry Level

About the Role

We're looking for an entry-level Communications Writer to help develop, create, and manage our internal communications programmes and community engagement efforts. You'll be the voice behind team member recognition, internal newsletters, company announcements, and community events. This is a creative role where you'll help shape company culture and keep our team informed and engaged.

What You'll Do

• Write and publish internal communications including newsletters, announcements, and team member spotlights while maintaining brand consistency• Develop and manage internal communications strategy and systems• Plan and coordinate team member recognition programmes and internal events• Create metrics and reporting to track how well communications are working and their impact on team engagement• Work with leadership, human resources, and marketing teams to identify communication needs• Handle photo and basic graphic design tasks for internal materials• Represent the company positively in community activities and events• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining quality output

Skills/background needed

• Experience in hospitality, retail, or entertainment (or willingness to learn in a similar fast-paced environment)• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines• Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Docs• Basic graphic design experience or familiarity with design software is helpful but not required• Creative mindset with strong problem-solving approach• Ability to work collaboratively with teams across different departments• No prior professional experience required — full training will be provided
