Hours: 37 hours full time – Part time/Job share considered
Salary: HoS2 £88,296 - £93,012 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Public Health team in Herefordshire. We are a small, well‑established team in an organisation that values public health and prevention. As one of the Council’s senior leaders, you will lead across adult Health Improvement and Public Health Intelligence. This includes smoking, physical activity, healthy weight, population health management, the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment and other programme areas as priorities dictate. The rurality of Herefordshire combined with its small city and market towns provides a challenge in how we commission and provide services. Our council is passionate about strengths‑based approaches, placing communities at the heart of all that we do, tackling inequalities and supporting personal development. The role is suitable for a newly qualified candidate, someone looking to take your first consultant post, or an experienced consultant.
