Senior Software Developer

As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a key role in creating and maintaining backend systems that protect our network in essential areas such as creative moderation, fraud prevention, and privacy compliance.

You will design and deploy backend systems that enforce content policies by adhering to rigorous legal standards, including through initiatives like content deduplication and tagging. Your efforts will aim to develop robust tools for detecting and mitigating fraudulent activities, thereby enhancing trust in the market and reducing the impact of malicious actors. Additionally, you will ensure that game publishers, players, and Unity itself comply with an ever-evolving landscape of global privacy regulations.

What You Will Do

• Design, implement, test, review, and maintain Unity's monetization platform, product, and services
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure high-quality code delivery
• Write high-quality and scalable code that supports the existing and future functionality of the product
• Manage and deliver individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in designing low-latency APIs and distributed backend services
• Proficiency in implementing high-quality, scalable code in Golang, TypeScript or Java
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and Key-Value stores such as Postgres, MongoDB, and Redis
• Experience with streaming platforms and queues like Kafka for batch enrichment
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in a remote-first team environment

You Might Also Have

• Experience with AdTech
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and observability tools (Kubernetes, Ray, etc.)
