DTC / E-Commerce Growth Strategy + Execution for Shopify Brand

About Us

We are a growing consumer-products company focused on fun, family-oriented outdoor and gift products.

We currently sell through wholesale, Amazon, and Shopify. Our goal is to significantly grow our direct-to-consumer Shopify business and determine the most effective and profitable way to acquire customers.

What We're Looking For

We are open to working with either:

•An experienced DTC / e-commerce growth strategist or consultant who can evaluate our business and develop a comprehensive growth plan

• An experienced DTC / e-commerce growth agency that can develop the strategy and potentially execute and manage the plan

We are not looking for someone who automatically recommends the channel they happen to specialize in.

We want someone who will first look at our business, products, customers, margins, current sales and goals and then determine where we should and should not, invest our marketing dollars.

Channels to Evaluate

• Meta / Facebook / Instagram advertising

• TikTok

• Influencer marketing

• Creator / UGC marketing

• Affiliate marketing

• Google Ads

• Amazon's role in the overall DTC strategy

• Email / SMS

• Other customer-acquisition opportunities you believe we should consider

Questions We Need Answered

• Which channels are most appropriate for our products and target customers?

• Should we concentrate heavily on one or two channels or test several simultaneously?

• How should our marketing budget be allocated?

• How much budget is realistically needed to properly test each recommended channel?

• How long should each channel be tested?

• What results should determine whether we scale, modify or stop a channel?

• What should our first 90 days look like?

• What should months 4-6 and 7-12 look like?

• What KPIs should we be measuring?

• How do we ultimately build a profitable and scalable customer-acquisition system for Shopify?

What We Want

We want practical recommendations specific to our business, not a generic marketing plan or a predetermined advertising package.

For consultants, we are open to a paid strategy engagement that results in a clear, actionable DTC growth plan.

For agencies, we are interested in understanding your strategic approach first. If we agree with the strategy, we will consider engaging your agency to execute and manage it.

To Apply

Please provide:

• Whether you are an independent consultant or an agency

• Your experience with Shopify / DTC consumer-product brands

• Examples of brands or products you have worked with

• Case studies or actual results where available

• Which customer-acquisition channels you have experience with

• How you approach deciding which channels a brand should prioritize

• What you would need from us to properly evaluate our business

• Your fees for strategy / consulting

• If applicable, your monthly fee for ongoing execution and management

• Any minimum advertising or marketing budget you typically require

• Client references, if available

We will be speaking with multiple candidates. We are looking for someone who can think strategically, explain why they are recommending a particular approach, and help us determine the best path for building our Shopify DTC business.
