Executive Assistant to the CEO (10-12 Month Contract) High Impact, Executive-Level Support

Overview

Our client—an established software development company that’s been in business for over 20 years—is seeking a highly experienced Executive Assistant to provide direct, high-level support to the CEO. This is a 10–12 month contract opportunity for a polished, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment and handles sensitive information with absolute discretion. You’ll be at the center of executive operations—driving organization, prioritization, and follow-through to keep the CEO’s day running smoothly and strategically.

Required Skills
  • Several years of high-level Executive Assistant experience
  • Prior experience directly supporting a CEO, C-suite executive, or senior executive leader
  • Proven ability to manage a complex, frequently changing executive calendar, including prioritizing requests and resolving conflicts
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; highly professional with strong executive presence
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs, track commitments, and drive follow-up items to completion
  • Sound judgment, problem-solving ability, and comfort working independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to coordinate meetings, prep materials, and support meeting follow-up
  • Ability to create and refine executive-level documents (correspondence, presentations, reports, and meeting materials)
Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience coordinating domestic and/or international travel arrangements
  • Background supporting special projects and cross-functional executive priorities
  • Strong career stability and a consistent professional track record
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Preferred: Several years of executive-level administrative support experience, specifically in direct support of a CEO or senior executive leadership
Other Requirements
  • Must be able to commit to a 10–12 month contract assignment
  • Must be able to begin in September
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-expectation executive environment
  • Contract benefits include eligibility to participate in a comprehensive benefit plan, Paid Time Off (accrual basis), and weekly direct deposit
