**Experienced Comedy Intern – ABC Entertainment & Hulu Originals Summer/Fall 2025 Internship Program**

As a comedy intern, you'll play a vital role in supporting our development team, working on a wide range of projects from script coverage to project tracking and administrative tasks. Responsibilities As a comedy intern, your responsibilities will include: Supporting assistants with production grids, project tracking, calendar invites, checking and tracking calls/voicemails, video conference setups, and general daily administrative tasks. Supporting the Coordinator in various administrative tasks and project tracking. Reading scripts, writing coverage, and engaging with/consuming and tracking various forms of media that could be of interest to the development team, including podcasts, television series, movies, novels, comic books, web series, social media personalities, etc. Distribution of various documents and media internally. Required Qualifications & Skills To be considered for this internship, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Proven skills utilizing reputed company Suite and MS Office Suite, including reputed company Drive, reputed company Sheets, reputed company Docs, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Previous internship experience within a related field. An interest in scripted television and a hunger to learn about television. Strong attention to detail. Responsible, dependable, and organized with excellent communication/writing skills. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize assignments by deadline. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications and skills are preferred: Experience in covering phone lines for executives and/or senior leadership. Knowledge of current series on ABC, Hulu, and other networks. Interest in comedy and knowledge of stand-up, improv, and sketch talent. Education To be eligible for this internship, you must be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application, or currently participating in a reputed company College Program or reputed company Internship. Additional Information As a comedy intern, you'll be expected to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm PT. You'll also be responsible for providing your own housing in the Burbank, California area and having reliable transportation to/from work. Compensation & Benefits The pay rate for this internship in California is $22.00 per hour.
