Finance Manager – Arts & Culture Sector, Doha

We’re looking for a Finance Manager to support the launch and ongoing operations of Art Basel in Qatar. We need a finance professional with a passion for precision and a flair for international business. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the financial management of one of the world’s premier art fair brands in a dynamic new market. This role reports to Group CFO, the HQ Finance Team and the Art Basel General Manager. This role requires a detail-oriented finance leader to help bring Art Basel’s vision to life in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily financial operations with strong internal controls and real-time oversight
  • Ensure compliance in contracts, invoicing, procurement, tax, and financial reporting
  • Act as the local liaison for banking, insurance, and regulatory bodies including QFC and auditors
  • Support risk management, compliance, and alignment with global financial policies
  • Manage local bookkeeping and prepare accurate financial reports for local and HQ stakeholders

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification (preferred)
  • 5+ years of finance experience, ideally within Qatar
  • Strong knowledge of QFC regulations and local banking landscape
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and high integrity
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
