Pepsi, Lay’s, Quaker, Doritos — hungry for more than just great flavors?

Experience what it’s like to shape the future of iconic brands and step into a workplace where culture, creativity, and collaboration drive everything we do.

Every 6 months, PepsiCo BeNeLux welcomes new talent just like you. Our internship program for (near-)graduates offers meaningful projects, mentorship and plenty of opportunities to grow your skills through hands-on experience. It’s not just on-the-job learning, but a chance to develop both personally and professionally.

Join our group of around 30 interns and become part of a community where your voice and perspective matter.

Ready to discover what HR really looks like in practice?

Are you curious about people, business and what happens behind the scenes to make a great organization work? Do you like taking initiative, figuring things out and getting things done?

As our HR Intern Benelux, you’ll become part of the local HR team and get the opportunity to experience HR in practice. Based at our Utrecht HQ, you’ll provide hands-on HR support for our teams in the Netherlands and Belgium, reporting into the People Business Partner responsible for Utrecht HQ.

This isn’t an internship where you’ll spend your time watching from the sidelines. We’re looking for someone who wants to jump in, take ownership and learn by doing.

Responsibilities:

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

No two days in HR are exactly the same, and what you work on will depend on what’s happening in our business and with our people at that moment.

You could find yourself:

  • Helping employees and managers with day-to-day HR questions and finding the right answers or solutions
  • Supporting local HR activities and initiatives across Utrecht and Belgium
  • Helping coordinate key people processes and activities
  • Connecting with different HR colleagues and specialists to get things moving
  • Taking ownership of smaller projects or improvement ideas
  • Spotting something that could work better and helping us do something about it

Along the way, you may get exposure to different parts of the HR landscape, from People Business Partnering and Talent Management to Learning & Development, Employee Experience or Total Rewards. Exactly what that looks like will depend on the topics and opportunities that come up during your internship.

And because HR rarely stands still, some of the most interesting things you’ll work on might be things we haven’t even thought of yet. We’d love you to be the kind of person who sees an opportunity and says: “I can take that.”

WHAT WILL YOU GET OUT OF IT?

Most importantly, you’ll get the chance to see what working in HR is actually like.

You’ll work alongside an experienced HR team, contribute to real topics and challenges, and interact with employees, managers and different HR teams. We’ll also encourage you to explore different areas when the opportunity comes up, so you can start discovering what part of HR interests you most.

We don’t expect you to know that already. That’s part of the experience.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • A supportive team that will encourage your professional growth and development
  • An opportunity to be meaningful and impactful within your work and projects
  • A community of interns - offering additional support, the opportunity to build connections, workshops and much more
  • Internship compensation of 550€/month and travel reimbursement
  • Work-from-home toolkit
Qualifications:

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re less concerned about you already knowing everything about HR. That’s what an internship is for. What matters more is how you approach things.

You could be a great match if you:

  • Are currently studyingHuman Resources, Business Administration, Communication, Psychology, Organizational Studies or a related field
  • Are curious aboutpeople, organizations and business
  • Are proactive and don’t always wait for someone to tell you what to do
  • Like to think one step ahead
  • Are comfortable taking ownership and following things through
  • Enjoy working with different people and building relationships
  • Are organized and can keep track of several things at once
  • Aren’t afraid to ask questions when you don’t know something
  • Bring energy, ideas and a willingness to learn
  • Can communicate confidently in English

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is keen to learn, eager to contribute and not afraid to roll up their sleeves.
