Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct individualized assessments and evaluations for clients to develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Utilize an array of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused approaches, to address client needs.
  • Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, adjusting strategies based on specific dynamics and challenges.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and provide comprehensive support to clients.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical records that comply with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training to stay current with advancements in mental health research and treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will include working with a diverse client population that may consist of individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, or substance use concerns. The ability to provide empathetic, individualized support will be crucial for developing meaningful therapeutic relationships and achieving optimal client outcomes.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a counseling or clinical setting is necessary for this position.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in specialized areas, such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling, is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with contemporary telehealth practices and digital client engagement strategies will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
