Live Production Account Executive, Entertainment, News, Sports and Enterprise Video

We're looking for an experienced Live Production Account Executive to own new business growth across BMG's live entertainment, news, sports and enterprise video markets. You'll carry the relationships that drive this business from leagues, rights holders, brands, tours, agencies, festivals, and venue operators. The position will lead scoping conversations and work closely with BMG's solutions architects and production leadership, who design the systems, outline the technical requirements and identify crewing and resource needs as part of proposals. This role is AI-native: you'll use AI for account research, target list development, call preparation, and proposal support.

The Live Production Account Executive combines live production fluency with commercial sales skills to win, grow, and retain BMG's live sports and live entertainment business.

Core Responsibilities:

  • New Business Ownership: build and work the target list across leagues, rights holders, brands, tours, agencies, festivals, and venue operators, resulting in closed deals
  • Technical Discovery: lead scoping conversations directly, partnering with BMG's solutions architects on costs, equipment, and crew plans
  • Deal Size Growth: move the mix upmarket toward multi-event packages and season-long agreements rather than one-off shows
  • Repeat Revenue: convert every first show into a named next opportunity before the current show strikes
  • Cross-Sell: bring additional BMG offerings such as creative services, REMI & cloud production, master control/channel playout, Media Asset Management, and embedded staffing into relationships that may begin as a single event
  • Market Presence: represent BMG at industry events where this business is sourced, worked against a named target list rather than a badge
  • Pipeline Discipline: maintain accurate pipeline, forecast, and activity records, and report bid volume and win rate against plan

Required:

  • Experience: 7+ years selling live production, broadcast, or live event services, with a record of six-figure project wins
  • Network: An active, current network across live sports or live entertainment production that you can name and activate
  • Production Fluency: REMI and remote production, control room and truck operations, live streaming, and crewing, credible in a scoping call without technical support
  • Background: Production experience or deep exposure to it, executive producer, line producer, technical producer, production manager, or a seller who has spent years in this market
  • Communication Skills: Translating production capability into commercial value for producers, marketing leaders, and executives
  • Daily AI experience; ability to use AI for account research, target list building, and proposal development
  • Willingness to travel to shows and industry events, and comfort selling bespoke scope rather than a price sheet

Why Join BMG

  • Own the live entertainment, news, sports and enterprise video business for a growing production and managed services company
  • Sell work you can stand behind
  • A dedicated solutions architect and a real estimating model behind your bids, so you sell rather than build spreadsheets
  • BMG has a strong 21 year track record of producing spectacular live broadcast
  • Use AI to speed up account research, targeting, and proposal development
  • Competitive salary, meaningful commission, health insurance, 401(k), PTO
