The Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager position at Amazon represents a vital leadership role in advancing this mission. As a WHS Manager, you will be the safety champion at a site level, responsible for driving the implementation of Amazon's Global WHS Program. Your role also involves managing first aid programs and ensuring readiness for workplace emergencies.
This position requires flexibility to travel between sites up to 50-70% of the time and the capacity to work various shifts in dynamic environments. Physical demands include lifting up to 49 pounds and performing activities such as walking, climbing stairs, and working under varied noise and temperature conditions. Candidates must obtain adult First Aid, CPR, and AED certification within three weeks from the start date if not already certified.
The WHS Manager role offers a competitive salary range of $63,000 to $94,600 annually depending on location and experience, complemented by Amazon's comprehensive benefits package.
