On-Call Home Care Client Service Coordinator (Weekends/Evenings) - Remote - Must Live Within 60 Mile
Job Description Job Description The On-Call Client Service Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring high-quality, responsive service for RVNAhealth's StayingWELL clients and caregivers. This part-time position is responsible for managing client needs during evenings, weekends, and holidays - including scheduling caregivers, addressing urgent needs, and supporting both clients and staff with professionalism and compassion. Working remotely, this individual will handle client and caregiver calls, coordinate staffing, and ensure continuity of care after regular business hours. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, and customer-focused, with the ability to multitask and make decisions independently in a fast-paced environment. Hours Needed for On-Call (Part-Time): Every other weekend: Friday 4:30 PM - Monday 8:30 AM (64 hours on-call) Two weekdays per week: 4:30 PM-10:00 PM and 6:00 AM-8:30 AM Rotating holiday coverage with other On-Call Coordinator Location: Remote - Must Live Within 60 Miles of Ridgefield, CT 06877. Ideal candidates will be based in Fairfield County, Litchfield County, Westchester County (NY), or the greater Ridgefield, CT area. Must be available to come into the office location based in Ridgefield, CT for training and orientation. Key Responsibilities Respond promptly to incoming client and caregiver calls during on-call hours. Manage new and existing client needs, including scheduling and staffing adjustments. Match clients with appropriate caregivers based on skills, availability, and preferences. Ensure all visits are staffed and coverage is maintained for late or absent caregivers. Provide exceptional customer service, fostering positive relationships with clients, families, and staff. Document and update information accurately in the eRSP Scheduling and EMR systems. Communicate client concerns or staffing issues to the Manager on Duty as needed. Support referrals and coordination with RVNAhealth programs and community resources. Maintain detailed records of all on-call activities for handoff and reporting. Qualifications College degree or equivalent experience required. 1-2 years of experience in home care, healthcare coordination, or customer service preferred. Must Live Within 60 Miles of Ridgefield, CT 06877. Strong computer literacy; experience with scheduling software (eRSP preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities with a customer-first approach. Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive in a fast-paced, remote environment. Familiarity with home care operations or client service coordination is a plus. Why RVNAhealth?
