Overview

We are seeking for Bilingual (English/Spanish) dedicated Packing Associate to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately preparing products for shipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high production standards. Duties

  • Operate packaging equipment and material handling machinery in accordance with manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
  • Package products securely, ensuring proper labeling, documentation, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Interpret production documents, work orders, and packaging instructions to accurately complete tasks.
  • Perform heavy lifting and materials handling tasks safely to move raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse or production area.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues with packaging equipment and coordinate repairs with maintenance teams.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area, ensuring compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA regulations.
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking packaging materials and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
  • Follow safety standards in production environments, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Support warehouse operations by loading, unloading, and storing materials using material handling equipment such as forklifts.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements for efficiency and safety.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in manufacturing facilities, particularly in packaging or warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge of GMP, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, and safety standards in production environments.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production document interpretation.
  • Ability to operate packaging equipment and material handling tools safely.
  • Basic math skills for measurements, counts, and documentation accuracy.
  • Experience with forklift operation or other material handling equipment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to safety protocol adherence.
  • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly as part of daily duties.

This position is integral to maintaining high-quality production standards while supporting a safe working environment. We welcome candidates who are proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute their skills within a collaborative manufacturing setting.

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
