Pre-Sales Engineer – West Coast
Job Description:
- Partner with Account Executives, Key Account Managers, and the CRO to drive revenue growth and support strategic deals.
- Understand customer challenges and translate them into tailored demos, workflows, and technical presentations.
- Design and deliver compelling live demonstrations that showcase the real-world impact of Synera.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to engineering teams and decision makers.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs and successful customer adoption.
- Inspire engineers and engineering leaders by showing how automation can transform their workflows.
- Continuously learn from customers and share insights with Product, Sales, and Customer Success.
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or Pre-Sales Engineer in B2B SaaS.
- Comfortable working with technically complex products.
- Experience with CAD / CAE systems and can build or manipulate models.
- Understanding of mechanical parts and manufacturing processes such as 3D printing, casting, molding, milling, or deep drawing.
- Enjoy evangelizing technology and getting customers excited about new possibilities.
- Excellent communicator and storyteller who can simplify complex technical concepts.
- Curious and process-oriented, always looking for ways to improve how things work.
- Enjoy meeting customers and colleagues in person, comfortable traveling regularly (around 40%).
