Producer/Director — Kajabi

3 month contract | LA/SD/OC, CA (Hybrid)

Snowball is seeking a Producer/Director to help lead YouTube content for Kajabi, the platform empowering creators, coaches, educators, and entrepreneurs to build thriving online businesses.

About Kajabi

Founded in 2010 and rebuilt from the ground up, Kajabi is in the middle of a once-in-a-decade transformation. With their founders back at the helm, they're moving fast, raising the bar, and rewriting what the expert economy can look like. This isn't a corporate SaaS company playing it safe. It's a team of builders who believe the next decade belongs to real experts, people with earned wisdom, real experience, and something worth teaching.

Tens of thousands of people around the world use Kajabi to turn their knowledge into income, impact, and independence. Their users, called Heroes, aren't customers. They're everyday entrepreneurs building freedom for themselves and changing lives because of it.

In a world flooded with AI-generated noise, Kajabi exists to give experts leverage. A platform that amplifies their humanity, protects their credibility, and makes real expertise worth more.

The Opportunity

Kajabi is expanding its YouTube presence. As a Producer/Director, you'll develop YouTube-first formats that make the expert economy tangible and compelling, translating Kajabi's mission of creator independence into content that actually earns its views. From concept to publish, you'll own the full production process, ensuring content feels unmistakably Kajabi: bold, human, and built for builders.

This role reports directly to Kajabi, with Snowball serving as the creative YouTube partner supporting the channel's strategic and creative development. You'll collaborate closely with Snowball's YouTube growth experts (27M+ subs, 110B+ views) to push creative boundaries, experiment with new formats, and help build one of the most compelling voices in the creator economy.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute YouTube-first video formats aligned with Kajabi’s mission, voice, and learning philosophy.

  • Develop concepts, episode outlines, interview structures, and production plans

  • Direct hosts, creators, customers, and guests to capture authentic, engaging performances

  • Partner closely with editors to shape story structure, pacing, and creative vision throughout post-production

  • Collaborate with strategists, marketers, and creative teams to produce videos aligned with channel goals

  • Manage production schedules, crews, vendors, locations, and shoot-day logistics

  • Continuously refine creative formats based on YouTube performance, audience insights, and best practices

  • Maintain a high creative bar while balancing efficiency, organization, and scalability

  • Partner with Snowball to analyze YouTube performance data and continuously optimize for reach, retention, and engagement.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience producing and directing YouTube or digital-first content

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional storytelling and creative leadership

  • Experience leading productions from concept through final delivery

  • Excellent interviewing and directing skills, with the ability to make on-camera talent feel natural and confident

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with experience managing multiple productions simultaneously

  • Collaborative mindset and experience working cross-functionally with creative, production, and marketing teams

  • Confidence providing creative feedback throughout production and post-production

  • Passion for AI that actually helps people. Whether it's building smarter workflows, finding creative solutions, or making your team's day a little easier, we want to know how you're using AI to make a real impact, not just checking a box.

Bonus

  • Experience producing educational, creator, entrepreneurship, or business-focused content

  • Experience working with SaaS, technology, or creator economy brands

  • Deep understanding of YouTube storytelling, audience retention, pacing, and viewer engagement

  • Experience helping build or grow YouTube channels

  • Ship to Learn means we move fast because our Heroes don't have time to wait and progress beats perfection.
