You will be working in the Ground Handling and Operations Team, ensuring consistent delivery of high performance standards in the provision of the smooth, timely and accurate processing of passenger baggage and aircraft turnaround.

Role Responsibilities:

We have plenty of challenge to keep you motivated, and help you to grow. These will be your key responsibilities; you should recognise some of these in relation to your current skills and experience as well as some objectives that you will need training & development to achieve.

  • Complete processes and activities, in accordance with both CAA and DfT regulations and Airline(s), Airport(s) and company procedures.

  • Perform accurate and efficient sortation of outbound passenger baggage.

  • Take active involvement in all Aircraft Turnaround processes (including but not limited to aircraft arrival, baggage/cargo unload, baggage/cargo onload, cargo running, operations of ground services equipment ) as instructed by Team Leader.

  • Safe and efficient operation of Ground Service Equipment.

  • Regular preventative maintenance within the operational environment (including but not limited to removal of FOD, Ground Service Equipment checks/cleaning).

  • Provide assistance and input to any baggage loading/unloading problems with accuracy and efficiency ensuring Team Leaders are advised.

  • Work cohesively as part of the team so as to improve co-operation leading to the safety, efficiency and effectiveness of the operation.

  • Collaborate closely and work together with other departments to ensure our customers receive a high standard of services

What were looking for?

  • Be able, without exception, to provide a 5-year history (with no gaps) including work and none work activities.

  • Have been a UK resident for the last 5 years

  • Would you be able to acquire a clear DBS certificate?

  • Do you have the flexibility to meet business needs, with early starts, late finishes, and night shifts, along with the flexibility to work overtime as required?

  • Good verbal communication skills

  • Ability to read, write and understand written instruction and information

  • Proactive approach to all work requirements and a team centred ethos.

  • Driving Licence is essential.

  • Previous Ramp Experience is desirable
