<p><strong><em>Registered Nurse (RN) – Clinical Operations & Utilization Review | Remote</em></strong></p><p><br></p><p>Medix is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse to support a growing healthcare technology organization focused on improving care coordination, clinical operations, and patient access.</p><p>This is a fully remote, hands-on clinical role for an RN who enjoys reviewing complex cases, working through documentation and care-access issues, and applying clinical judgment outside of a traditional bedside setting.</p><p><br></p><p>The role will initially be focused on the day-to-day clinical work, with opportunities to contribute to quality improvement, workflow development, and broader clinical operations as you become familiar with the organization and its programs.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Details</strong></p><ul><li>Fully remote within the U.S.</li><li>Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM EST</li><li>$48–$65/hour</li><li>Target start: Early October</li><li>Indefinite contract through Medix</li><li>Company-issued equipment provided</li><li>Weekly payroll</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Review clinical cases and documentation requiring RN-level judgment</li><li>Support prior authorization, utilization review, appeals, and care coordination workflows</li><li>Identify missing or incomplete clinical information and help resolve barriers to care</li><li>Support patient follow-up, clinical escalation, and documentation review</li><li>Conduct quality reviews and help maintain strong clinical and operational standards</li><li>Work independently through a high volume of cases while maintaining accuracy and timely completion</li><li>Collaborate with nurses, providers, and operations teams to resolve clinical and workflow issues</li><li>Help improve clinical workflows, SOPs, and processes over time</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>Active RN license in good standing</li><li>BSN required</li><li>2+ years of relevant nursing experience</li><li>Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills</li><li>Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced remote environment</li><li>Experience in areas such as:</li><li>Care or case management</li><li>Utilization review / utilization management</li><li>Prior authorization</li><li>Remote triage or virtual care</li><li>Clinical documentation or chart review</li><li>Population health</li><li>Managed care</li><li>Clinical operations</li><li>Quality review</li></ul><p><strong><em>Experience within digital health, virtual care, healthcare technology, or payer/managed-care environments is strongly preferred.</em></strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Equipment</strong></p><p>Company-issued equipment will be provided.</p><p>A temporary refundable equipment deposit applies:</p><ul><li>$50 per week deducted for the first 10 weeks</li><li>Total refundable deposit: $500</li><li>Fully refunded after equipment is returned or upon conversion to permanent employment</li></ul><p>There is no upfront payment required.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Opportunity</strong></p><p>Medix will serve as the employer of record for payroll, benefits, and HR support, while you’ll work directly with the client’s clinical and operations teams.</p><p>This is a strong opportunity for an RN looking to move beyond traditional bedside care and apply their experience in a more operational, technology-enabled healthcare environment.</p>
