[Remote] Social Media and Content Marketing Manager

Crawford Group provides marketing, digital, creative, events, and communications talent solutions and is seeking a Social Media and Content Marketing Manager to support a technology client. The role will develop and execute social media strategies, create and repurpose technical content for LinkedIn, X, and other channels, engage technology communities, analyze performance, and manage digital marketing projects. Responsibilities Develop and execute an ongoing social media strategy primarily across LinkedIn and X, as well as other relevant industry channels Develop, maintain, and manage a monthly social media content calendar Create and publish approximately 3–4 high-quality LinkedIn posts and 3–5 additional social posts per week across designated channels Develop approximately 6–8 pieces of founder/executive content based on leadership perspectives, existing materials, industry developments, and company priorities Translate complex technical information into clear, credible, and engaging social content for customers, partners, industry influencers, and prospective employees Develop thought-leadership content around topics such as AI infrastructure, networking, data centers, scalability, performance, hyperscale computing, and emerging technology trends Identify strategies and content opportunities designed to increase awareness and engagement among hyperscalers and other priority enterprise technology audiences Maintain an ongoing social publishing schedule and ensure content is delivered consistently and on time Independently identify opportunities to turn existing company content into meaningful social media assets Repurpose videos, webinars, presentations, blogs, technical materials, customer stories, and other existing content into multiple social posts and formats Review longer-form video and other multimedia content to identify strong moments, themes, quotes, and insights that can be repurposed for social channels Highlight company news, product developments, customer use cases, partnerships, events, industry trends, and other relevant business developments Create approximately 1–2 visual assets as needed and/or coordinate with design resources to support social content Ensure social posts are supported by appropriate graphics, video, or other visual assets Work collaboratively with executives, technical leaders, sales, and marketing teams to uncover relevant stories and content opportunities Monitor relevant social channels for conversations involving AI infrastructure, networking, data centers, hyperscalers, customers, partners, analysts, and competitors Identify relevant third-party content and industry conversations where the company or its executives can add a meaningful perspective Recommend posts and conversations where company executives should comment, engage, or contribute thought leadership Monitor and respond appropriately to relevant comments, mentions, and messages Help build the company's credibility and visibility within targeted technology communities through consistent, thoughtful engagement Stay current on emerging trends, companies, analysts, influencers, and conversations within the AI infrastructure and networking ecosystem Track social media performance, including impressions, engagement, follower growth, clicks, reach, and top-performing content Provide regular performance reporting and insights, including a concise monthly summary with recommendations for improving content and engagement Use performance data to continually refine topics, formats, posting cadence, and audience engagement strategies Identify opportunities to test new approaches and improve the effectiveness of social content Manage and maintain content planning spreadsheets, calendars, schedules, and project trackers Coordinate marketing projects across content, web, graphics, video, and other digital assets, ensuring deliverables remain on schedule Track project status, dependencies, approvals, deadlines, and outstanding action items Proactively follow up with stakeholders and contributors to keep projects moving Identify opportunities to use AI and automation to improve project tracking, scheduling, content workflows, and communications Help create greater visibility and accountability across active marketing initiatives Skills 5+ years of experience in social media, content marketing, digital marketing, communications, or a related field Demonstrated experience managing B2B social media programs, particularly on LinkedIn and X Strong understanding of the technology ecosystem and the ability to quickly comprehend complex technical topics Ability to independently turn technical and business information into clear, engaging social content Demonstrated experience repurposing existing content, particularly video and long-form content, into effective social posts and assets Strong understanding of social media best practices, audience engagement, and thought-leadership strategies Experience identifying relevant third-party content and industry conversations for brand and executive engagement Understanding of hyperscalers and enterprise technology audiences and how to develop content strategies that reach and engage them Experience supporting executive or founder thought leadership Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple content and digital marketing workstreams simultaneously Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects with limited day-to-day direction Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through Experience using social media management, scheduling, analytics, and content planning tools Working knowledge of AI-enabled marketing and social media tools and an interest in using AI to improve efficiency, content workflows, and project management Location Remote, Anywhere in the US Strong preference for experience within networking, AI, cloud
