Job Overview

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our vape and smoke shop team at your Deep Ellum Location for our night shift.

The ideal candidate is reliable, comfortable working independently, eager to learn about our products, and able to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. Previous vape or smoke shop experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide friendly, professional customer service
  • Help customers find products that fit their needs and preferences
  • Learn and provide knowledgeable information about vape, tobacco, hemp, and smoking-related products
  • Accurately operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash and credit card transactions
  • Verify customer age and follow all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Stock shelves, organize inventory, and maintain attractive product displays
  • Answer questions regarding products, promotions, pricing, and store policies
  • Recommend relevant products and promotions when appropriate
  • Receive, organize, and restock inventory shipments
  • Maintain a clean and organized store, including counters, displays, sales floor, and restrooms
  • Monitor the store for suspicious activity, theft, or policy violations
  • Answer phone calls professionally and assist customers with product availability and general store information
  • Complete opening/closing and other assigned shift responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Previous vape or smoke shop experience preferred
  • Must be available to work evening and over night shifts. 11pm - 7am.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and responsible
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Willing and able to learn detailed product information
  • Comfortable handling cash and operating a POS system
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

We are looking for someone who is reliable, motivated, and takes pride in providing great customer service and keeping the store clean and organized.
