Romance Fiction Editor Needed — Incorporate Beta Reader Feedback + Final Polish

Hi!

I’m looking for an experienced romance fiction editor to complete the final edit of a ~10,000-word lead magnet for an upcoming contemporary billionaire romance series.

The manuscript has already been written and revised, and I have also received detailed feedback from a beta reader. I will provide both the manuscript and the beta reader’s notes.

I’m looking for an editor who can:

Review the beta reader’s feedback and incorporate the changes that strengthen the story, using professional editorial judgment rather than automatically accepting every suggestion.

Address any remaining issues with pacing, character consistency, chemistry, dialogue, repetition, and continuity.

Perform a strong line/copy edit for sentence flow, awkward phrasing, grammar, punctuation, spelling, and readability.

Flag or revise anything that feels cheesy, forced, repetitive, overly dramatic, or too obvious.

Preserve my existing story, character voices, and overall creative direction rather than unnecessarily rewriting the manuscript.

Deliver the final edit in Microsoft Word with Track Changes so I can clearly see what was changed.

This is a billionaire romance with an elevated, sophisticated luxury feel. I want the wealth and lifestyle to feel effortless and believable rather than relying on excessive brand-dropping or repeatedly telling the reader how expensive something is.

The romantic tension is also extremely important. The male lead should feel powerful, confident, controlled, and desirable without becoming overly eager or emotionally attached too quickly. I want the chemistry to build naturally.

Experience with contemporary romance, billionaire romance, or commercial romantic fiction is strongly preferred.
