Sales Support Team - Warehouse

<strong>Description<br><br></strong><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES<br><br></strong><ul><li>Assist with the overall coordinating of major shows, vendor fairs, etc1. Request and confirm participation of scheduled event, by client2. Coordinate and secure product allowances, POS & applicable coupons3. Coordinate and order the needed samples and equipment4. Confirm theme support, budget and support accordingly5. Coordinate all food show related costs for submission to finance department</li><li>Appropriate business attire ie.: shoes, shirts, pants, etc.</li><li>Maintain and update distributor stocking guides (matrices)</li><li>Process all distributor marketing requests (marketing plans, individual marketing events), completeand submit distributor required documentation to distributor, obtain all client approvals for all eventsand marketing plans and forward to TM for processing</li><li>Maintain company calendars</li><li>Completion of distributor new item forms</li><li>Support sales with flyers, and other marketing administration</li><li>Support sales in planning and preparing for distributor meetings</li><li>Support distributor leads and local BDM’s as needed</li><li>Scheduling of meeting rooms and vehicles</li><li>Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase ordersto sample orders, letting market know when new product comes in</li><li>Rotate product samples, discard any products that may be going out of code</li><li>Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to bemoved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped</li><li>Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.</li><li>Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to the predeterminedsequence such as size, type, style, and color or product code</li><li>Ensuring warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic</li><li>Assembling customer or sales orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or relocatingorder to a holding area or shipping department</li><li>Labeling materials with identifying information using appropriate method</li><li>Opening crates, boxes and other containers</li><li>Maintaining and counting physical inventory</li><li>Clean and store all equipment returning from food shows and sales events</li><li>Complete scheduled deliveries and pick‐ups</li><li>Keep all equipment in working condition, report damaged goods to Director, Brand Development</li><li>Pick‐up and deliver warehouse orders to specified locations according to prescribed deliveryschedules. Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the company.<br><br></em><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>1-2 years of experience in a customer service or sales support role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build strong relationships.</li><li>Strong organizational skills, with an eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing effectively.</li><li>Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and basic computer applications.</li><li>Valid driver's license and a clean driving record, with the ability to operate a company vehicle.</li><li>Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, with a commitment to health and safety practices.</li><li>Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed to support the team.</li><li>A positive, can-do attitude, with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Physical Demands<br><br></strong>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
