Senior PMO Analyst

<p>Are you an experienced PMO professional who enjoys bringing structure, insight and clarity to complex projects, while working collaboratively with stakeholders and teams?</p><p>As a Senior PMO Analyst with NHS Shared Business Services, you’ll play a key role in supporting projects and programmes to deliver successfully. You’ll work as part of a collaborative and supportive team, helping to ensure strong governance, effective reporting, and high-quality outputs across a range of initiatives. This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to be in our Leeds office 3 days per week, giving you the best of both in-person collaboration and flexibility.</p><p><strong>What you'll be doing:</strong></p><ul><li>Supporting project planning, reporting, and governance to ensure delivery aligns with agreed standards and processes.</li><li>Managing risk, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID), ensuring visibility and consistency across project teams.</li><li>Analysing project data to identify trends, provide insights, and support informed decision-making.</li><li>Producing high-quality reports and dashboards to communicate performance and progress to stakeholders.</li><li>Supporting change control processes and helping embed improvements to ways of working across teams.</li><li>Building strong stakeholder relationships and supporting communications, workshops and knowledge sharing activities.</li></ul><p><strong>What you’ll bring:</strong></p><ul><li> Experience of working in a PMO or project support role, delivering within medium complexity environments.</li><li>Strong understanding of project controls including financials, scheduling, risk and governance.</li><li>Experience using project management tools and methodologies within waterfall, agile or blended environments.</li><li>Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify meaningful insights.</li><li>Advanced capability in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively, manage priorities and maintain high-quality outputs under pressure.</li></ul><p><strong>It would be great if you had:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience working across different client environments or sectors.</li><li>Knowledge of PMO frameworks, tools or systems such as iQ, PM3 or SAFe.</li><li>Experience supporting business change activities and assessing change readiness.</li><li>Understanding of quality assurance processes within project delivery.</li></ul><p>If you’re interested in this role but not sure if your skills and experience are exactly what we’re looking for, please do apply, we’d love to hear from you!</p><p style="text-align: left;"><strong>Salary offered will be in line with experience and developmental needs.</strong></p><p style="text-align: left;"><strong> </strong><strong>Location: Leeds (2/3 days per week onsite).</strong></p><p style="text-align: left;"><strong>Internal Recruiter: Rebecca.</strong></p><p>Although this role is advertised as full-time, we believe that flexibility at work can promote work/life balance, increase your motivation, reduce stress and improves performance and productivity.
