Assist Trust Officers with various duties related to their client relationships and clerical related functions.<br><br><strong>Essential Functions And Basic Duties<br><br></strong><strong>Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of all assigned operational and support functions.<br><br></strong><ul><li>Opens and sorts all incoming mail. Retrieves and distributes intra-office mail. Prepares mail for office couriers.</li><li>Maintains account administrative files.</li><li>Sorts, copies, and distributes reports, documents, and files.</li><li>Clerical type duties such as setting up new accounts on the computer systems, typing, answering phones, and serving as a receptionist for the Trust Department.</li><li>All other duties as assigned.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communications and coordination with area staff and management.<br><br></strong><ul><li>Assists and backs up staff as needed.</li><li>Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.</li><li>Represent the Bank in a courteous and professional manner.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Assumes Responsibility For Related Duties As Required Or Assigned.<br><br></strong><ul><li>Assist with special projects as assigned.</li><li>Ensure that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.</li><li>Advanced Customer service skills, self-starter.</li><li>Must be able to read and understand legal documents, i.e. trust instruments, wills, etc.</li><li>Detail oriented with accuracy required in all tasks.</li><li>Able to work with multiple employees.</li><li>High level of confidentiality required.</li><li>Able to prioritize and perform several tasks at one time.</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Maintain integrity of account information.<br><br></li></ul>The above statements describe the general nature and level of work only. (Almost all office jobs.)<br><br><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS<br><br></strong><strong>None:</strong> No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions (such as in a typical office).<br><br><strong>Mental Activities And Requirements Of This Position<br><br></strong><strong>Reasoning Ability:</strong> Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions and to deal with problems involving a few variables.<br><br><strong>Mathematics Ability: </strong>Ability to perform basic math skills, use decimals to compute ratios and percentages, and to draw and interpret graphs.<br><br><strong>Language Ability: </strong> Ability to use passive vocabulary of 5,000-6,000 words; read at a slow rate; and define unfamiliar words in dictionaries for meaning, spelling, and pronunciation.<br><br>Ability to write complex sentences, using proper punctuation, and using adjectives and adverbs.<br><br>Ability to communicate in complex sentences, using normal word order with present and past tenses and good vocabulary.<br><br>Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.<br><br>40 hours per week.
