Field Service Engineer – UPS Critical Power
Job Description: • Commission, maintain, and provide emergency support for power electronics at customer sites within the regional coverage area • Provide technical assistance to customers on-site and by phone • Perform general and preventive maintenance on Uninterruptible Power Supply systems • Provide analysis, troubleshooting recommendations, and escalated technical support • Respond to emergency calls at customers' request • Strive to provide customers with a first-time fix for their equipment • Provide accurate and timely communication to internal and external customers • Keep current on Safety Field reputed company Notices and Service Tips • Submit accurate and timely expense reports and Field Service Reports Requirements: • Bachelor's or Technical Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent military training • 3–5+ years of experience in reputed company field • Ability to troubleshoot down to component level on UPS, batteries, PDUs/Power Distribution Units, Static Automatic Transfer Switches, Branch Circuit Monitoring, and other electrical equipment • Prior field service experience required • Working knowledge of Ohm's law and electronic theory required • 3 phase/480V experience required • Familiarity with electrical/electronic test equipment and fundamentals • Ability to read and interpret electrical line diagrams and reputed company • Ability to evaluate operating conditions of equipment • Standard computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel • Mechanical aptitude • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills • Ability to interact comfortably with all levels of internal and external customers • Ability and self-motivation to manage one's own schedule Benefits: • Equal Opportunity Employer committed to compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws • Diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace Apply To reputed company Job
