This is a fast-paced, on-demand role requiring flexibility, quick decision-making, strong communication skills, and comfort working in high-pressure situations. You can set your availability, though workload may vary significantly throughout the year.<br><br>When available, the Operations team will mobilize you based on client needs and your qualification level, with opportunities for 24/7 on-call work after advanced training. Primary responsibilities include air monitoring, with additional support in areas such as environmental sampling, moisture mapping, and site safety. Accurate documentation using our in-house technology is essential.<br><br>This role offers nationwide travel, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to make a meaningful environmental impact while working with a dedicated, team-oriented organization committed to protecting the air, water, and soil we depend on.<br><br><strong>Job Type: </strong>Part Time<br><br><strong>Location:</strong> Flexible/Remote<br><br>Project Pay Rate: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour.<br><br>Limited Project Pay Rate: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour.<br><br>Training Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour or other applicable local minimum wage.<br><br>Potential extensive overtime opportunities at 1.5 or higher pay multipliers.<br><br>This role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:<br><br><ul><li>Support emergency response, environmental response, disaster recovery, industrial hygiene, toxicology, risk assessment, and infectious disease response projects.</li><li>Maintain immediate availability for emergency response and extended travel, typically up to 30 days at a time.</li><li>Manage high workloads and multitask effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.</li><li>Work extended hours, including overtime, weekends, overnight shifts, and rare 24-hour shifts as required.</li><li>Independently operate monitoring instruments and record measurements</li><li>Prepare chain-of-custody documentation for environmental samples.</li><li>Drive non-commercial vehicles to and from project sites.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.<br><br></li></ul>Your Expertise and Skills<br><br>These requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here.<br><br><ul><li>Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>Functional or higher computer literacy skills in a Windows-based environment required.</li><li>Experience in any branch of the armed forces desirable.</li><li>Experience and/or proficiency with industrial hygiene equipment desirable.</li><li>Experience using air and environmental sampling equipment desirable.</li><li>Relevant experience in emergency response, environmental response, construction management, etc., desirable.</li><li>Ability to understand and follow directions<br><br></li></ul>Work Environment and Physical Requirements<br><br>The physical and environmental requirements below reflect what’s typically needed to perform the essential functions of this role safely and effectively.
